I am now the proud owner of a 2lb block of Extra Sharp Vermont cheddar cheese. That's right, me. And it came straight from Vermont. Made in Vermont by happy Vermont cheese makers. Not made in another New England state, by folks pretending to be from Vermont and using a Vermont cheese recipe, this is authentic Vermont Extra Sharp Cheddar cheese. The wrapping even smells like Vermont.
It smells delicious. And it was brought straight to me from Vermont. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars. This is truly a glorious block of cheese. It's so beautiful, I'd use it as a centerpeice for my table, except that heat and cheese don't mix and this cheese is too good not to eat.
Oh yes, I know, you're all just green with envy, and wish you were me. Too bad, right? Only I can own this particular block of this extremely fine VERMONT EXTRA SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE!
Of course, I also got a big box of that terrible maple sugar candy, also from Vermont, but that stuff makes me gag, so we won't talk about that.
