Maybe I'm wierd.

But, when I rent a movie that is hailed as a comedy, even a comedy/drama, I expect to laugh.

I do not expect to get grossed out. I do not expect to see two fairly graphic scenes of murder. When it comes to the main characters, I do not expect to be (A)so worried about the character's mental state of health, that any attempts to be funny fall short of the mark. I feel as if to laugh would be the same as laughing at someone with a serious handicap. (B)Totally sickened by other main characters and think that their deaths are the best thing that could happen to them.

We rented Nurse Betty tonight. I hated it. I wonder if Blockbuster still has that "disappointment" gaurentee. In this case, I would be more than happy to act on it.

Your opinions might be different, but I think the movie had a lot of balls billing itself as a comedy in any way, shape, or form. Unless, of course, you think that people with serious emotional problems and a psychotic father and son hit team are a hoot. Then this is your movie.
